Use your email and a password. Click the link in the email we send you to verify it.

Type your website address, for example myshop.com. The free plan includes 1 website.

Switch your website on
On the dashboard, turn on the switch next to your website. New websites start switched off.

Copy your Domain ID
On the setup page, copy the Domain ID. It looks like myshop.com- followed by a long code.

Paste your Domain ID below. The prompt updates by itself. Then copy it and send it to Lovable, Bolt, v0 or whichever AI builds your site.

Paste the code below inside <head> in index.html (for Next.js: the root layout with next/script strategy="beforeInteractive"). It must come before any analytics or tracking scripts such as Google Analytics, Google Tag Manager or Meta Pixel. Do not load it from a React component or useEffect, and do not change anything else.

When your AI is done, publish the site and open it in a private browser window. The cookie banner should appear.

It will give you a link and a code. Open the link, sign in, check the code matches, and click Approve. You never share your password with the AI.

Banner doesn't show up?

Check that your website is switched on in the dashboard.
Check that the Domain ID was copied exactly, with nothing missing at the start or end.
Open the site on the same address you added in Cookiefy (for example myshop.com, not a preview link).
Ask your AI: "Is the Cookiefy code in the head section of index.html, before any analytics scripts?"
Want other colours or text? Change them in the dashboard under Banner settings. No new prompt needed.
